Topping up Rabbit Rabbit is an e-money service, meaning you have to have stored value on your Rabbit before you can start spending. Adding stored value is easy: visit any BTS ticket office as well as other Authorized Top-up Service Providers displaying the “top up” sign and add cash in multiples of 100 baht up to a maximum of 4,000 baht. Your cash will be instantly converted to stored value on your Rabbit and you can begin spending with any Rabbit Service Provider. For BTS or other mass transit, you can also top up a pass such as trip pass onto your Rabbit. |

Spend with Rabbit On the BTS or other transit system, simply place the Rabbit on the gate and listen for the “beep” – the value of your trip will be automatically deducted from your Rabbit when you exit your destination station. If you are a mass transit pass holder, your trip will be deducted from your pass as a first priority. If your pass has finished or expired, the transit cost will be deducted from your Rabbit stored value balance. For participating service providers including retail outlets, click here, or look for the “welcome” sign at the store. When you are making your purchase, tell the cashier that you wish to pay using your Rabbit. You will be asked to tap your Rabbit on the Rabbit reader. When you hear the "beep", your transaction is complete and the cost of what you purchased will be deducted from your stored value balance. It’s that easy, fast and convenient. |
